Vluchtval plot

The 90-year-old poet Jana Beranová fled from Czechoslovakia to Rotterdam as a teenager. As a child, 27-year-old freerunner Abdallah Marega lived alternately in Paris and Mali. Laura Stek's short documentary mirrors their stories, which are both about a free fall, but also about getting up afterwards. One finds resilience in words, the other in movement.
