Vibrato, Leven met Parkinson plot
Yolanda Nachtegaele was a passionate juvenile judge for many years until the brain disease Parkinson's made it impossible for her to continue working and she had to retire at the age of 55. Since then she has been trying to find her way to deal with the disease. For Yolanda, that means a lot of moving, painting and making music, even though this is becoming increasingly difficult due to her trembling left hand. She wants to feel the magic of conducting an orchestra one more time before Parkinson's deprives her of that opportunity. Parkinson's is the fastest growing brain disease in the world. Phara de Aguirre and Joeri Vleken show the impact Parkinson's has on Yolanda and her environment.
