Venían a Buscarme plot
Alvaro de la Barra has unknowingly gone into exile. He was just one when his parents, both activists in the MIR, were murdered near his kindergarten. Alvaro was taken abroad under a different name and with a forged birth certificate. He grew up in France and later in Venezuela with an uncle on his father's side, the filmmaker Pablo de la Barra. In a style related to Chilean cinema in exile, Alvaro examines the family archive, which also includes video tapes that are played, discussed, frozen, commented on and placed in historical perspective.
