Vapor Trail (Clark) plot

Filmmaker Gianvito focuses on the consequences of the environmental pollution left behind by the US military after the closure of Clark Air Force Base in the Philippine province of Pampanga. Contemporary interviews with victims, their families and activists are interspersed with archive material. The film looks back to the end of the 19th century, when the Americans settled on the islands and examines the effects of 100 years of colonization.
