This documentary was shot by director Robert Kramer during the process that another filmmaker, Thomas Harlan, was working on the film Wundkanal. Thomas Harlan is the son of the well-known Nazi filmmaker Veit Harlan (Jud Süss, 1940). In the first half of the 1980s, Thomas made a film in which the former city commandant of Vilna plays a role.
