Una Ciudad de Provincia plot

The Argentinian provincial town of Colón, located on the Uruguay River, offers a beautiful spectacle of everyday life: women rush to work in the cold, a car has to be pushed, a lingerie store employee almost falls asleep, barking street dogs groom a traffic warden and fishermen chat about longlines. At a nightclub, taxis are waiting and visitors are searched; inside, girlfriends seek eye contact while the bouncer supervises. The next morning the birds are chirping, while the dance floor is being swept clean, with a heaving disco ball as a silent witness.
