Un Été avec Anton plot
Twelve-year-old Anton lives with his grandmother in a small house outside Moscow. It is summer vacation and we see Anton playing with his friends on a beach, being bored around the house, dancing in front of the mirror, drawing and being read to by his grandmother. He tells the camera what is on his mind. One day Anton picks up his large backpack and puts on army trousers, hanging wide around his slender waist. Like most Russian children, Anton is going to one of President Putin's military youth training camps this summer. Exciting: the children sleep in army tents, press themselves, go on campaigns and do target practice. No campfire or treasure hunt, but defense techniques and day marches. That's how you become a big, strong man.
