Uit 't Leven plot

In this film, Tim Dekkers and Henk Burger investigate why so many people in the LGBTIQ+ community take their own lives. According to figures from 113 Suicide Prevention, half of all LGBTIQ + people sometimes think about suicide. The number of actual suicide attempts is four times higher than in the straight world. This percentage is even higher among transgender people. However, the subject is a taboo in society and the filmmakers try to break that with this film.
