Tussen Twee Werelden plot

Marijn Poels, an idealist, travels the world to make his documentaries. Back and forth between safe Europe and places that feel less familiar. When he got to know Poels better, filmmaker Ruud Lenssen wondered what this does to him as a person. Poels, who comes from Swolgen, works a large part of the year in developing countries to make his documentaries. There he sees the most terrible things and tries to put his feelings aside in order to remain objective in his work. But what happens when Marijn is back home in Berlin? Back in the modern world where apparently there are no problems?
