John Trudell is a Native American poet, musician, actor, and political activist who, since the late 1960s, has championed the culture and rights of his people and, more broadly, tapped into the responsibility that every human being should feel toward the Earth. Today he is still active in creative or political circles to make his message known to the world. The Indian-American director Heather Rae followed him for twelve years and interviewed him, his colleagues and his friends in order to tell the story of Trudell and his message.
