Trond Giske - Makta Rår plot
"Might makes right"
Norwegian politician Trond Giske was for many years the "crown prince" of the social-democratic Workers' Party. But when this left-wing party loses popularity and the #MeToo movement stirs awareness about sexually transgressive behavior, the tide turns for the formerly beloved Giske. Rumors of his intrusive behavior towards young employees at party parties shine a brighter light when he is accused of sexual assault by some women. The boom in media attention, leaked videos, testimonials and the political power struggle that follows bring him down. In this documentary, Giske, now in his fifties, does not leave it alone: with a self-refurbished, red-painted caravan he sets out into the country to convince Norwegian voters that he deserves a comeback.
