Five hundred years after its first crossing to America, the Queen Elizabeth 2 is the only surviving transatlantic passenger ship. 1800 passengers and 1100 crew members are on board the largest ship in the world; they are forced to live close together at sea for five days. In this unchanging landscape, everyone lives in their own world. This documentary chronicles the events and captures the atmosphere aboard the last ship connecting Europe to America.
