A journey through Argentina. Roasting meat is the preparation for a meal and a ritual. It is primitive and contemporary, wild and sophisticated, an art and a science. Asado is Argentine for barbecue and extremely popular among the population. The story begins in a slaughterhouse where hundreds of head of cattle pass every day. Talk to one of the workers about what they feel (or don't feel) in their work. Attention is also paid to chefs, politicians, a family that makes their own sausages in the garage and a vegan who has graduated.
