Tiger Mountain plot
Documentary that gives a voice to the residents of a Chinese rural village heavily polluted by the coal industry, where nearly three quarters of deaths are caused by lung cancer. The film follows the poor villagers for a year and a half in their daily lives, which are dominated by polluted water, thick plumes of smoke from the chimneys of the nearby power plants, conversations about sick acquaintances and relatives, funerals and worries about the future of their children.
