Think about Wood, Think about Metal plot

A poetic portrait of Robyn Schulkowsky, who has worked with John Cage, Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Zorn and Christian Wolff. Rhythm and the non-linear structuring of time play a major role, with an emphasis on memory, history and life. The film largely consists of her percussion improvisations, supplemented with fragments from the life and ideas of Schulkowsky, within the history of avant-garde music from the 1970s.
