The Wild Horse Redemption plot
"Can Two Creatures help each other to a better Life?"
Three times a year, some of the more than 30,000 wild mustang horses in the American Southwest are rounded up. Some of these untamed mustangs are taken to a prison at the foot of the Rocky Montains in Colorado. There they participate in a special program for prisoners, an innovative and highly successful initiative intended to rehabilitate horses as well as criminals. Under the guidance of professional trainers, 40 prisoners are brought together with a horse every 3 months to train the horses. The training is heavy and difficult and requires a lot of patience and understanding from both the prisoner and the horse. The prisoners' progress with their horses depends on their ability to muster patience and determination, but interestingly enough, it is precisely because the prisoners recognize themselves in the wild horses that they understand their own lives better.
