The Wait plot

In many ways, Rokhsar Sediqi is an ordinary student, living in a Danish village, playing at the local football club and talking to her friends about 'which actor from The Hunger Games they like best'. It is not so common that she is in danger of being deported. She fled Afghanistan with her family five years ago and ended up in Denmark. But her parents do not get a residence permit, because the authorities do not believe that they are in danger in Afghanistan. Since Rokhsar is the only one in the family who speaks fluent Danish, the 14-year-old is in charge of liaising with lawyers, immigration and other institutions. It takes a heavy toll on her mental health...
