The Strange Sound of Happiness plot

After wandering for several years, Diego Pascal Panarello returns to his native island of Sicily. His dream to become a musician did not come true. He has no job and no plans for the future, but he is fascinated by the hypnotic sound of the Jew's harp, an instrument that Ennio Morricone used in his soundtracks for Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns. Determined to discover the origins of this instrument, he travels to the icy plains of Yakutia in Siberia.
