The Soul of Steffen Morrison plot

The charismatic soul artist Steffen Morrison became known for his participation in The Voice of Holland in 2013. Since then he has been working on an increasingly personal sound, together with his Band of Brothers. Through Black Lives Matter, Steffen feels a greater responsibility to express his commitment. Marcel de Vré follows his development in this music documentary. Also attention to Steffen's personal history. He grows up in Suriname. In October 1992, when he is 12 years old, the family moves to the Netherlands: a culture shock that takes on an extra charge when he witnesses the devastation caused by the Bijlmer disaster a day later.
