The Serial Killer's Apprentice plot

The story of Elmer Wayne Henley Jr., a teenager recruited by serial killer Dean Corll in the 1970s. Along with another boy, he lured young boys to Corll's house. There, they were tied up, abused, tortured, and murdered. In 1973, Henley turned the tables and shot Corll dead. He then led police to the burial sites of 28 victims. In this documentary, he tells his story over the phone to criminologist Katherine Ramsland. She attempts to thoroughly explore where the line between perpetrator and victim lies, and how it plays out in Henley's case.
