The Price of Progress plot

Every day we consume a lot of food. We just don't always know what the story behind it is. This documentary examines lobbying within the food industry. Because while the possibilities of genetically modified organisms are already being fully applied in America and Asia, Europe remains skeptical about this. Even though companies continue to push for the admission of genetically modified food. Is Europe perhaps too cautious here? Doesn't every progress involve risk? And what is at stake in the discussion about food: power, money or health?
