The Pervert's Guide to Cinema plot

The world-famous Slovenian psychoanalyst and cultural theorist Slavoj Žižek takes us into the deepest recesses of the human psyche through famous film fragments. With infectious enthusiasm Žižek unleashes his - strongly (post-)psychoanalytically spiced - ideas on various films. To what extent are filmmakers aware of the subconscious or subconscious component of their own creativity? And to what extent does this component contribute to the success of the films?
