The Mountain Yogi plot

Tibetan Buddhism has many appearances, but the tradition of Milarepa is perhaps the most appealing to the imagination. These are the yogis high in the Himalayas who often do their meditation for years, under harsh conditions and in total seclusion. Lama Govinda (Pooh, 1962) is such a hermit, and we follow him as he leaves his cave after twenty years of reclusive life to mingle with people.
