The Mosaic Church plot
In 2004, a remarkable discovery was made during routine renovation of a prison in Megiddo, Israel, which is perhaps the oldest and most famous Christian place of worship. In the center of the prison, a mosaic was found with the first public inscription declaring Jesus as God. In this documentary, the filmmaker examines the location where the object was found, with an eye to the historical, theological, and political significance of the site. Several historians and theologians are featured, among others, with expert insights into the find.
