Martha Mitchell was the wife of Richard Nixon's Attorney General John Mitchell, who many regarded as the second most powerful man of the time. Martha spoke to eager reporters about the government's dirty tricks. Her candor cost her dearly. She was denounced and discredited by the Nixon administration. Only female journalists took Martha's accusations seriously. This documentary tells the story of a woman who spoke unwelcome truths and was subsequently vilified.
