The Lure of Alaska plot

dr. Leonard S. Sugden spent about 20 years in Alaska. He was an explorer, scientist, and writer, who traveled and researched in the Yukon and Alaska as early as the second half of the 20th century. This documentary features Fort Gibbon, the most northerly post in the United States, as well as the former home of adventurer and writer Rex Beach, the birth of an iceberg, Sugden himself sailing through a rapid in a canoe, a nocturnal baseball game in Dawson City and the then new working methods in the gold mines.
