The Last Truck: Closing of a GM Plant plot
"Families. Friends. Lives On The Line."
For the residents of Moraine, Ohio, General Motors was more than just an automaker, it was the lifeblood of a community. In the wake of GM's 2008 announcement to shut down the plant, stunned employees looked back on their careers at GM and reminisced about the opportunities, friendships and pride the factory line had given them. Through their words, this documentary is an elegy to a dying American manufacturing system and an up-to-date look at the US auto industry in crisis.
