The Last Tightrope Dancer in Armenia plot
They were once the most famous tightrope walkers in Armenia. Now Zhora and Knyaz are well into their seventies and can only dream of that period. With brilliant eyes the old men tell of the good old days. The archive images prove it: they didn't turn their backs on a bicycle or motorcycle ride on the thin rope. "Without a safety net", the tightrope walker at rest emphasizes once again to the filmmaker. Tightrope walking has been in the family for over three hundred years and the question is whether the next generation will take up this art form just as enthusiastically. If it is up to Zhora, yes: he trains his foster son Horsvep hard to bring out the passion in him.
