The Island Murder plot

In the closing days of the summer of 1931, race relations in Hawaii were shaken after a young Marine woman claimed she had been raped by a gang of non-white islanders. In the days and weeks that followed, this caused quite a stir and a lawsuit with racist accusations that would rock the entire nation. Hawaii's natives were outraged and the island's law enforcement officers had their hands full trying to bring the situation under control.
