The Great Wall plot

This documentary begins on Europe's heavily militarized southeastern border. In the shadow of Europe's ideas of freedom, Europe has built its own great wall, like China's, but varied in shape and its usefulness is questionable. The film moves between fortified landscapes and reflects on those whose lives are ruled by borders. Positions of power are brightly highlighted, partly through texts by Kafka. The nature of force is constantly up for debate.
