The Genius and the Boys plot

A genius, everyone agrees. Daniel Carleton Gajdusek won a Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1976 for his research on cannibals who got sick from eating brains. Opinions differ about his private life. In 1997, Gajdusek was convicted of child abuse. He regularly took children to America on his long journeys, whom he took home and gave them a good education, until it was revealed that he was having sexual relations with some of them.
