The Forest Maker plot

Tony Rinaudo, an Australian agronomist, has been battling the spread of the desert for 30 years along with African farmers. For decades he has been fighting for reforestation, through his simple but effective method. By restoring living stumps and roots to an "underground forest", he plants trees in the most barren areas and provides a livelihood for thousands of African farmers.
