The Faraway Nearby plot

There is much to be said about the tragic life story of Joseph Weber, the unsung founder of gravitational wave research. Until his death he remained a pariah in his field of research, rehabilitation only came sixteen years later. Through interviews with Nobel Prize winner Kip Thorne and psychologist Steven Pinker, among others, one learns, just like Weber, to look at the world differently.
