The Facility plot

Investigative journalist Seth Freed Wessler makes contact with immigrants who are incarcerated in a private detention center in the US pending their case or deportation. It is unclear how long they will remain incarcerated without a court order. They tell their harrowing stories to Wessler and a lawyer – their few connections with the outside world. Then the corona pandemic breaks out and it is only a matter of time before the virus also reaches the cell complex. The detainees' cry for help is getting louder, but they should expect little from the US government, nor from the inscrutable legal system.
