The Devil Came on Horseback plot

"A witness to evil. A force for peace. An unbelievable true story."

Documentary about the violence and genocide in Darfur, seen through the eyes of official military observer Brian Steidle. This soldier was given access to places that journalists could not reach through his position and took thousands of photos of the tragic consequences of years of massacres of the population. Steidle didn't know where he would end up and had to risk his life to save people. Frustrated by the inaction of the international community, he returned to the US to raise awareness of the issue.
