God Grew Tired of Us: The Story of Lost Boys of Sudan plot

In 1983, about 25,000 children between the ages of 5 and 10 fled southern Sudan from the northern Muslim army, whose goal was to exterminate the male Christian black population. Three boys travel 1,000 miles through the desert barefoot, eventually arriving at a UN refugee camp in Kakuma, Kenya. From here the children are followed with the camera by director Christopher Quinn, in their onward journey to safe America.
