The Ants & the Grasshopper plot
The story is about the leader in a Malawian village, Anita Chitaya. She is extremely determined to make the world a better place. Chitaya is committed to gender equality, child hunger and better food yields. But now she faces her biggest challenge: convincing Americans that climate change is real. She travels from Malawi to California and the White House, meeting climate skeptics and desperate farmers. Her journey takes her through all the extremes that make up the US, from the divide between rural and urban, and the differences of race, class and gender.
