Tell Them about Us plot

This documentary chronicles the lives of six teenage girls as they navigate adolescence in Eberswalde, a provincial town in eastern Germany, 30 kilometres from Berlin. As newcomers, they navigate the usual challenges of teenage life alongside the complexities of adapting to a new culture and environment. Confronted with an unfamiliar and often inhospitable world, they struggle with identity as immigrants and refugees, grappling with uprootedness, cultural adjustment and the pressures of assimilation. Yet they find solace and strength in their shared experiences, and strive to carve out a place for themselves in their new home.
