Teenage Kicks: The Undertones plot

BBC radio veteran DJ John Peel visits Derry in Northern Ireland for the first time and discovers the group that made his favorite pop song, 'Teenage Kicks' by The Undertones. The film takes us back to 1975, when the band got together and caused a stir with their music. Peel takes us on a journey of discovery in which he marvels at the band's innocence and the completely artless way they withstood all the hype and media promotion. The Undertones refused to take it all seriously. Nevertheless, they gained a true cult status outside their own city.
