Sylvia Kristel: Nu plot

Sylvia Kristel looks back on her career and life, which suddenly hung by a thread when she was diagnosed with throat cancer two years ago. Director Michiel van Erp followed her in Paris during her intensive media tour in connection with the launch of her book, and portrayed her in the Netherlands. A portrait of an energetic, idiosyncratic film diva, whose career has changed course. There are no longer any major film offers and Sylvia mainly has to rely on the survival instinct that she has mastered. Her talent to be happy, as she herself once described it, may now need to be used more than ever. A life of 'after the big successes', doctor checks, art projects and unexpected media appearances.
