Stronger Than a Bullet plot
Narrator and protagonist Saeid Sadeghi was a war photographer during the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988). His heroic photos, which illustrate his story in the film, played an important role in government propaganda then (and even now). At the time, a convinced supporter of the Iranian revolution, he recorded soldiers marching to the front and was prepared to die if necessary. Now he wakes up every night with a start, to hear his dying comrades begging for help in his nightmares. Full of regret, he contemplates, usually in the form of a voice-over, how he is partly to blame for the deaths of countless soldiers, often very young...
