Stijl van het Stedelijk - Ontwerpen voor een Museum plot

Graphic designer and filmmaker Lex Reitsma follows the Stedelijk Museum's search for a new house style. In 2008, former director Gijs van Tuyl of the Stedelijk Museum organized a house style competition in which five renowned graphic designers were allowed to participate. Director Lex Reitsma filmed their presentations and the decision-making process, including the meetings of the jury that had to select the winner. In addition, the new proposals are compared with the work of illustrious predecessors such as Sandberg and Crouwel. Directors and designers maintained a special relationship. The house style competition in 2008 was an exception to this rule. Just as the new building always provided surprises, the house style project also turned out to take unexpected turns.
