Sólskinsdrengurinn plot
Margret Dagmar Ericsdottir, the mother of an autistic child, is determined not to accept the pessimistic prognosis for her son. She embarks on a desperate quest to better understand her son's complex illness. Margret became frustrated with the lack of treatment options in Iceland, and through various countries she eventually ends up in the United States. With filmmaker Friðriksson in her wake, to document her search for alternatives for her eleven-year-old son Keli. Kate Winslet provides the commentary, and with music by Sigur Rós and Björk.
