October 2, 2015 marked the 111th anniversary of the German General Von Trotha's order to kill all members of the rebellious Herero and Nama in German Southwest Africa – the perfect time for activists in present-day Namibia to issue an ultimatum. Let Germany finally recognize that mass murder as genocide – and what about reparations? Do racist motives play a role in German recalcitrance? Patience is running out, because it is not the first time that descendants of the tribes hit hard in 1904 raise the issue, as "Skulls, of My People" shows. An important issue is the return of the skulls taken by the Germans 'for scientific purposes'.
