Shanghai - The People's City plot

A film about China in 1985, about life in China's largest port city; shanghai. Due to the enormous population growth, modernization of the country is necessary. Yet the solution of modernization is such that the traditional values of the country are not affected and the rhythm of life is not disturbed. Among other things, the situation of the workers and the position of women are discussed.
