In an effort to save the ecosystem of her favorite swimming spot, Canadian Frances Ward, a self-proclaimed 'seaweed nerd', decides to start her own seaweed farm. But to complete that project, she needs the help of scientists, game harvesters and entrepreneurs who know the tricks, and especially the difficulties, of the trade all too well. Frances discovers the beautiful underwater world of the groundbreaking organism that could completely change the world.
