Semisweet: Life in Chocolate plot
"If you think chocolate is just candy... think again."
Set on three continents, this documentary follows four groups of people whose lives are intertwined with the complex world of chocolate. In the wilderness of Northern Canada, Ron and Nadine make handmade chocolate that they believe can save our planet. In Hershey, Pennsylvania, Jonathan sees himself as a modern-day Charlie in the chocolate factory. In West Africa, Noufou and Mamoutou return from working on the cocoa plantations. They are lucky, because they came back alive. Top chocolatier Patrick Roger creates his latest masterpiece in Paris; a 75-pound chocolate orangutan he hopes can save Borneo's rainforests.
