See You Tomorrow, God Willing! plot

Seventeen Franciscan Sisters, all well into their eighties, jointly run a monastery somewhere in Spain. The elderly nuns begin their religious duties and secular duties at the crack of dawn, such as mopping and sewing. Passing conversations with each other sometimes deal with Biblical issues, but the more banal matters of life are also discussed. Meanwhile, a phone rings, a birthday is being prepared and the persimmon harvest is judged.
