Sea Gypsies: The Far Side of the World plot
"The story of a small group of modern seafaring gypsies, following them as they strike out across the largest expanse of uninhabited geography on earth, in search of adventure, awe and whatever else lies at the far side of the world."
The Infinity is a hand-built 120-foot sailboat crewed by a small group of modern seafaring gypsies. This documentary follows their journey, a nearly 8,000-mile crossing of the Pacific Ocean from New Zealand to Patagonia, with a stopover in Antarctica. The gypsies live in the moment and sail on impulse. With enthusiasm, disdain for authority, and an abundance of alcohol on board, they embark on a reckless adventure, purely for the fun of it.
