Frans Bromet follows scoot drivers of different ages about their lives. He talks to them about what has changed since they got a mobility scooter, about how their living space has increased, about the limitations of the vehicle and about what is and is no longer possible in private.

Bromet investigates the relationship that Dutch people have with their mobility scooter and starts with a tour for mobility scooters. The participants are in very good spirits and clearly enjoy the activity and the social contacts. Of course, Bromet does not hesitate to ask people about their personal history and let them express what they think about the fact that they have a mobility scooter. But he also speaks to a 39-year-old mother of two children who overcame her resistance and can even share her joy in riding her mobility scooter with her daughters.
